BRAND CONCEPT
Through an engagement with the spirit of the times—responding to and shifting alongside the currents of each era—the brand seeks to capture the spaces that emerge at the boundary between reality and emotion, and establish them as the foundation of its design.
It also attempts to reconnect contemporary society with the richness and expansiveness of fashion that the designer experienced and was shaped by in their youth
DESIGNER PROFILE

For his debut collection, Yoshida portrayed an intimate and life-sized image of youth rooted in his own adolescent longing for fashion. Since Spring/Summer 2016, the brand has continuously presented runway shows at Tokyo Fashion Week. Rather than depicting the superficial appearance of boyhood, Yoshida sought to express the ad hoc relationship between contemporary society and his own inner world through fashion; beginning with the Spring/Summer 2017 collection, all collections were developed exclusively through womenswear and its methodologies.
From 2019 onward, KEISUKEYOSHIDA began collaborating with the sewing atelier THE SEWING WORKS, establishing an approach grounded in craftsmanship and technical expression.
In 2020, as the world was shaken by COVID-19 and underwent a dramatic shift in values, Yoshida staged the Spring/Summer 2021 runway show along the banks of the Arakawa River near his hometown. This became a moment of confrontation with his original landscape and a return to his earliest creative impulses.
For Autumn/Winter 2023, stylist Léopold Duchemin joined the creative team. Following the Autumn/Winter 2024 runway presentation held at his alma mater, Rikkyo University, Yoshida brought an end to the introspective, autobiographical narratives that had defined his earlier work and shifted toward a new creative framework—one that confronts the spirit of the times and uses as its foundation the spaces that emerge at the boundary between reality and emotion.
Selected works from KEISUKEYOSHIDA’s collections were exhibited in 2022 at the exhibition FASHION IN JAPAN 1945–2020 held at The National Art Center, Tokyo as an example of the current state of Japanese fashion design. In 2023, the brand was also selected for Fashion Asia Hong Kong’s “10 Asian Designers To Watch.”
In 2026, KEISUKEYOSHIDA opened its flagship store, KEISUKEYOSHIDA Tokyo, in Jingumae.
