BRAND CONCEPT
To bring into contemporary society the richness and generosity of fashion that has profoundly shaped the designer’s own life.
Responding to the spirit of each moment, KEISUKEYOSHIDA continually confronts the shifting psyche of the times, directing its gaze toward the spaces that emerge between reality and emotion.
DESIGNER PROFILE

Keisuke Yoshida was born in Tokyo in 1991. He graduated from the College of Arts at Rikkyo University in 2013. While still a student, he began studying fashion at the independent fashion school coconogacco, before completing the A.M.I. program at ESMOD JAPON. In 2015, he established his eponymous label, KEISUKEYOSHIDA.
His debut collection portrayed an intimate image of youth, rooted in the designer’s own adolescent longing for fashion. Since Spring/Summer 2016, the brand has consistently presented runway collections at Tokyo Fashion Week. Rather than depicting the outward appearance of youth, Yoshida sought to express the ad hoc relationship between contemporary society and his own inner world through clothing. From Spring/Summer 2017 onward, he began constructing every collection entirely through womenswear and its design language.
In 2019, KEISUKEYOSHIDA began collaborating with the sewing atelier THE SEWING WORKS, establishing a practice grounded in exceptional craftsmanship. Amid the dramatic shift in values brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, Yoshida presented the Spring/Summer 2021 runway show on the banks of the Arakawa River, near the neighborhood where he grew up. The collection marked a return to his personal landscape and the creative impulses from which the brand first emerged.
For Autumn/Winter 2023, stylist Léopold Duchemin joined the creative team. In contrast to the intensely introspective nature of the brand’s earlier work, the collection became a monumental expression in which the presence of another’s perspective brought the spirit of KEISUKEYOSHIDA into sharper focus.
For Autumn/Winter 2024, the brand staged its runway show at Yoshida’s alma mater, Rikkyo University. Selected works from KEISUKEYOSHIDA were featured in FASHION IN JAPAN 1945–2020, held at The National Art Center, Tokyo in 2022, as an example of the current landscape of Japanese fashion design. In 2023, the brand was also selected as one of FASHION ASIA HONG KONG’s “10 Asian Designers To Watch.” In 2026, KEISUKEYOSHIDA opened its flagship store, KEISUKEYOSHIDA Tokyo, in Jingumae, Tokyo.
